Gunnar’s law practice at Bushong & Holleman PC focuses on every aspect of water rights and a wide range of related water quality, environmental, land use, and real property issues. Gunnar represents municipalities, special districts, ski resorts, farms and ranches, industrial entities, and real estate developers. He successfully represents clients in all seven of Colorado’s water courts, district courts, appellate courts, administrative courts, and before multiple state agencies. Gunnar’s practice includes assisting clients with all forms of Water Court and Ground Water Commission adjudications, including new surface and ground water rights, changes of water rights, plans for augmentation and exchange, findings of reasonable diligence, and overall development of water supply plans. Gunnar represents clients in all stages of real estate and water rights transactions, from due diligence investigations, contract drafting, complex agreements, and closings of transactions involving tens of millions of dollars. Gunnar is from Sandpoint, Idaho, which is where his love for exploring the American West by foot, ski, bike, and fly rod was first kindled.
