Kate’s law practice focuses on all aspects of water rights, transactions, and adjudications, in addition to related environmental and land use matters. She is experienced in federal and state regulatory research, real estate transactions, due diligence proceedings, interstate water supply dynamics, and the development of water rights portfolios. She also has extensive experience in the adjudication of surface and groundwater rights and protecting client’s water rights from injury in water court proceedings. Kate represents a wide range of clients including farms, ranches, municipalities, ski resorts, and property developers. When not in the office, she can be found trail running (mostly walking) or playing fetch with her black lab, Moose.
